My experience at ACE art studio has been nothing but wonderful! Thanks to Katia’s help and guidance, I was able to get into Sheridan animation program as well as the Seneca animation program with a 97% score on my portfolio! Katia is everything you want in an art teacher: an amazing, talented and dedicated teacher who has a very individual style to each of her students. She goes above and beyond to provide non profit life drawing sessions for our convenience and she brings in expert animators from the field to have a better expertise. After attending Ace Art Studio for over four years, I think I can safely say that it\u2019s the place to go to sharpen your skills in the visual arts. Animation, illustration or classical art, be it a passion or hobby, you\u2019ll receive individual and specialized teaching. Or if you are like me back in grade 8, wanting to pursue a career in the visual arts but not quite sure where exactly, you can do a little bit of a variety of projects, bettering yourself as an artist and finding your place as one. Of course, the amount of time it takes to get there depends on you, and that is part of what made this class so special to me. Though students of many ages attended alongside me, I was given the attention I needed without unnecessary pressure.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t

I’ve been with many art teachers, but out of the 3 years (and three tutors I’ve had) of attempting to get into Sheridan animation, she is without a doubt, the best teacher I’ve had. I’ve also attended Sheridan art fundamentals in my 2nd year of trying to get into Sheridan, and it really does not compare to a fraction of how much more helpful Katia has been than the $5,300 program (not including living and other educational fees). She genuinely cares for her all her students and helped us anytime whether we were in or out of class. She is rather strict…but some of us really needed that. I can truthfully say that I would not have gotten into Sheridan without her guidance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t

The difference between my skill when I first came here to where I am right now is pretty big. I was able to improve from someone who had literally no chance of getting into any art program anywhere to being accepted by both Sheridan and Seneca on my first try. Katia doesn’t beat around the bush if she notices something wrong. You’ll always end up getting frank feedback from her. I can’t understate how much I appreciated being in this class.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t

I took animation portfolio classes this year. Thanks to the portfolio I built with Katia\u2019s guidance, I finally got in to Sheridan animation! Katia is a great teacher. She is encouraging, and attentive. She teaches layout, perspective, character design, composition; all specific animation knowledge. This is absolutely essential for a portfolio! Thanks to Katia, I stayed positive, on track, and on time. If you love art, practice all the time, and see yourself in art career, then classes are the first step.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t
